For one of our customers we are now looking for a Senior Buyer
Job responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate procurement team activities for assigned packages, ensuring adherence to project goals and procedures.
- Develop and maintain procurement strategies, plans, and budgets.
- Handle supplier pre-qualification, inquiries, tender evaluation, negotiations, purchase orders, and oversee deliveries.
- Manage changes, warranties, invoice control, and project close-out.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and integration teams.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of contracts and detailed knowledge of technical and commercial aspects.
- Reporting to manager on progress, status, schedule, cost, and risks.
Your experience and qualifications:
- Relevant master’s or bachelor’s degree
- 7-10 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Norwegian.
- Strong systematic and analytical skills
- Commercially driven with technical insight
- Proficient in contract management
- Strong negotiation skills
- High integrity and ethical values
- Dedicated and proactive team player
