For one of our customers we are now looking for a Supply Chain Market Analyst – Supply Chain Management (SCM).
Job responsibilities:
- As a Market Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing key market insights and recommendations to support our decision-making processes, and to support our negotiation teams.
- The analysis comprises market cost level, supply chain capacity, bargaining power, and scenario analysis with the aim of spotting trends, risks, and opportunities.
- This include applying a firm understanding of key global trends, how it impacts supply chain markets
- Other than analytical skills, stakeholder management and the ability to navigate conflicting agendas are key competence and tasks for the work.
- The Supplier Market Analysis (SMA) team is responsible for providing value adding supply chain market analysis and strategic advice
- SMA cover all supplier markets (e.g. renewables, rig, drilling & well services, subsea and marine, engineering and construction, maintenance and modification).
- Provide high-quality, innovative, and forward-looking analysis and reports
- Deliver consistent and strategic supply chain market analysis across Business Areas
- Explore how to utilize market intelligence more efficiently and strategically
- Provide and present supply chain insights and recommendations to support senior management decision making
- Analyse long term risks and mega trends
- Support sourcing strategy development and best practice
- Contribute to an overall approach to supplier relationship management (SRM) and companies voice towards suppliers
Your experience and qualifications:
- Excel proficiency, familiarity with advanced data modelling, analytics and visualization tools
- Strong English skills (spoken and written)
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant analytical, commercial and/or strategic experience.
- Relevant Master’s degree or equivalent
- Strong analytic-, strategic- and communication skills
- Ability to identify relevant market trends and implications
- Commercial mindset, with ability to contribute to strategy discussions/evaluations to help the company reach its strategic ambitions
- Solid business, project and value chain understanding is an advantage
- Project, international and/or external experience is an advantage
