For one of our customers we are now looking for a Buyer (cat. 4 packages).
Job responsibilities:
• Package Responsible Buyer for equipment packages
• Prepare and develop procurement strategies
• Sourcing and pre-qualification of potential suppliers
• Prepare and issue enquiries and perform bid evaluations
• Negotiate contracts and purchase orders
• Ensure timely deliveries in accordance with budget and schedule
• Ensure that all activities are performed according to procedures
• Follow-up, control and report progress on contracts
• Report and manage risks
• Build up and maintain supplier relations
• Take on varied tasks to develop a broader professional understanding
Your experience and qualifications:
• Higher education within business and/or engineering
• High interest in learning the profession of procurement and supply chain
• Have multi-discipline understanding and commercial skills
• Basic understanding of customer needs
• Solid communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• Able to work independently on less complex tasks
• Proactive and flexible, with a team-player attitude
• Flexible and solution-oriented mindset
• Software Skills: ERP knowledge, MIPS, SAP & ProARC knowledge, General Microsoft skills
