For one of our customers we are now looking for a Procurement Specialist / Contract Lead in Geoscience Procurement
Job responsibilities:
- A Contract Lead is responsible for Company’s procurement activities related to establish and manage agreements.
- Holds the mandate to legally commit the Company to suppliers.
- Here you will take on strategic procurement responsibilities and challenging tasks, through:
LEAD CONTRACT ESTABLISHMENT:
- Lead enquiry processes (strategy, enquiry, evaluation, negotiation)
- Implement and operationalize new agreements
- Framework agreements, project specific contracts and call offs
MANAGE AGREEMENT:
- Shape the future global contract portfolio through segment strategies together with business line and suppliers
- Identify business cases and drive change in contract relationship to maximize value for company
- Ensure contract compliance, identify, and manage risk (SSU, commercial, financial, local requirements)
- Stakeholder management in relevant business line together with Company Representative (CR) and Contract Owner (CO)
- Contribute to correct and optimal use of agreements in collaboration with Company Representative, including supporting the business line
Your experience and qualifications:
- Education: relevant Bachelor/Master’s degree or equivalent qualities
- We are looking for dedicated, proactive candidates who can undertake tasks by involving stakeholders, being cost-conscious, caring for sustainability and being a caring colleague.
- Digital skills: Experience with SAP, Contiki, SAP Ariba is a great advantage.
- Good communication skills in both English an Norwegian
