Purchaser

For one of our customers we are now looking for a Purchaser

Job responsibilities:

  • Market screening
  • Commercial evaluation of offers, as well as identifying possibilities and risks.
  • Negotiate if necessary, and when agreement is reached place the order.
  • Follow-up of deliveries, and secure delivery with regards to cost, time, and quality.
  • Make sure all work performed is in accordance with The Companys directives, work instructions and procedures.
  • It is considered a natural part of the job to constantly work on improvements, to reduce internal and external risks, costs and to improve delivery quality and co-operations.


Your qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree within Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering and similar
  • Long, relevant experience may compensate for the lack of formal education
  • 2-5 years of experience, preferably within supply chain management.
  • Commercial aware.
  • Professional, and independent team-player.
  • Good oral and written communication skills, both in Norwegian and English.
  • Flexible and positive with good collaboration skills.
  • Structured, efficient, and willing to change.
  • SAP experience with high degree of data discipline is preferred.

To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway with valid work permit
