For one of our customer we are now looking for a Project Procurement Management Professional.
Job responsibilities:
For an oil and gas offshore EICT project the client are in need of a Senior Buyer to undertake the following tasks:
- Responsible for managing the RFQ and bid evaluation process for assigned procurement packages to ensure that the suppliers are given equal and fair possibility to bid
- Responsible to perform procurement of goods, materials and services according to internal procurement procedures
- Plan, organize and execute frame agreement negotiations for assigned procurement packages
- Interface coordination with engineering disciplines with regard to assigned procurement tasks.
- Single point of contact for all commercial issues towards the suppliers. Responsible for managing bid clarifications towards suppliers in project with support from Project Procurement Manager and coordinate the work with engineering
- Drive standardization measures for assigned procurement packages
- Evaluation of possible design to cost (DtC) measures for assigned procurement packages
- Supplier quality management
- Shall keep Project Procurement Manager informed of package progress and risks. Shall keep the Procurement Milestone Plan updated for the package
- Promote and contribute to a positive HSSE culture in the organization, with clients and with suppliers
Your qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant procurement experience
- Bachelor or Master education (Economy or Engineering, preferably with Supply Chain Management)
- Technical understanding is an advantage and able to deal with Risk Management
- Extensive knowledge and experience in negotiations
- Responsible, structured and result orientated
- Fluent communication skills in Norwegian and English
- Good ERP knowledge
- To be accepted as a candidate you must be located within EU – preferable in Norway with valid work permit
